How Does Botox® Work?

Botox Pre-Care Instructions
- Stop using blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, at least 7 days before your treatment unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
- Avoid drinking alcohol for at least a full day before your appointment to lower the risk of bruising.
- Ensure you stay hydrated in the days leading up to your procedure to support optimal results.
- Tell your provider about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you currently take.

Botox Post-Care Instructions

- Steer clear of strenuous exercise or intense activity for between 24 to 48 hours to minimize swelling or discomfort.
